Tourism - For an overview of what else you can see and do on Jersey see the tourism website at www.jersey.com  .

Kayaking - Gary together with Derek Hairon (BCU Coach Level 5) run Jersey Kayak Adventures, which is also a BCU centre.  JKA offers tours around the stunning coastline of Jersey in decked boats or sit-on-top kayaks.  For more information see www.jerseykayakadventures.co.uk .

Walks - Derek Hairon runs walks out to Seymour Tower and Icho Tower, both of which are over a mile out to sea at low tide.  For more information see www.jerseywalkadventures.co.uk .

Diving - Dive Jersey is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre based in St Helier, Jersey. It is a family run company offering year round diver training and dive charter from our purpose built RIB. For more information see www.divejersey.co.uk

Self Catering Accommodation - Les Ormes is Jersey's only leisure
and self catering village, with a nine hole golf course, gym, indoor tennis, Creepy Valley Adventure Centre, beauty salon and bar and restaurant. All the accommodation has been graded 5 stars by VisitBritain. For more information see www.lesormes.je .

Cybele Offshore - Cybele Offshore has been created to take the Cybele ethos beyond the mainland UK. Based in Jersey, Cybele Offshore works with clients to provide a unique blend of experience, skills and resources that cannot be found elsewhere. Working across all jurisdictions, with a key clientele base in the financial sector, Cybele Offshore offers a replica service that has made its mainland counterpart into a leading training and consultancy provider. For more information see www.cybele.uk.com/offshore/

Camping - David and Lesley run the Blue Soleil campsite and restaurant on the way to Plemont.  A fabulous campsite and great food - we highly recommend the fish and chips.  For more information see www.bluesoleilcamping.com .

Food - Jersey is famous for its food and not just the spud!  For one of the best views in Jersey and a great bacon roll try Plemont Cafe at Plemont beach.  For the best pizzas in Jersey try the North Point Bistro at the Plemont crossroads.  Big Verns in St Ouen's bay is a Jersey institution for breakfast.  For good cakes try Colleens at Greve de Lecq.  Our favourite all round eating experience is Danny's at the Harbour View at St Aubins www.harbourviewjersey.com .

Pubs - For real ale you need to go to the Moulin de Lecq down at Greve de Lecq, the Smugglers at Ouaisne or the Lamplighter pub on Mulcaster Street in St Helier.

Beaches - Jersey has so many great beaches, but there a few hidden gems that can be almost empty even on a summer's day.  Beauport and Portlet on the South West coast are very secluded.  Plemont has great caves to explore, but the beach is only accessible from mid to low tide.  Green Island on the South East coast is great when the tide is out as it has lots of gullies to explore.  When the wind is from the South or West head to Rozel, which also has the famous Hungry Man cafe.  Aim to get there early as the queues build at lunchtime and there is limited parking.

Heritage - Jersey has some spectacular heritage sites and great museums.  For more information see www.jerseyheritagetrust.org .
