Archery

For centuries the bowman was key to the success of many armies, surpassing the power of the newly invented gun until well into the 16th Century. Our highly trained instructors will show you how to handle the bow correctly, take aim and strike accurately. This activity is all about competition – beat your last shot and out-shoot the others on the range.

You familiarise yourself with the bow and learn how to take aim with tuition from our trained instructors. You will be equipment with a bow and arrow - we have left and right handed bows. The session starts with a briefing introduction on how to use your bow in a safe manner. There will be free practice time so participants can get used to aiming at a target. We will then finish the session with  competitive games where you will be going up against your team mates.

Minimum Age 10 years old (max group size 12).
